Tiong Bahru Teochew Kueh

“Teochew Kueh” was founded by my mother in 1974 and her thought behind it was, “Why should I work for others when I can open my own business?”. So that’s exactly what she did, and she didn’t get anyone to make Kueh for her. She made it herself.

Me personally, I took over this stall 1 year ago with a mission to rebrand it as “Sg Kueh”. I plan to do this by adding in more types, different types of Kueh from Chinese, Indian, Malay and many more. I want to make it a fully cultural experience where each Kueh has its own story to share.

I would personally recommend Png Kueh to anyone interested. Pink Skin with a sticky rice filling. I also need to express how good my homemade Black Bean Cake recipe is, not only because people love it but because its also healthy using brown sticky rice as part of the filling.
