“Fins & Feathers” has been around for 7 years. We had previous F & B experience in Hong Kong, but ultimately decided to come back to Singapore to share our products with fellow Singaporeans. Initially it was difficult to find a good location to set up a restaurant, so we decided to open a hawker stall to keep the hawker culture alive and pave our way into Singapore’s F & B scene. We came up with the name “Fins & Feathers” as it was catchy and unique. It also reflects our stall’s specialty, which is fish and chicken dishes.
Our vision that guides us everyday is to serve customers food that we would eat ourselves. We wanted to serve affordable and authentic British-style Fish & Chips that the public could enjoy. At the beginning, it was quite challenging maintaining the pricing of the food and managing the expectations of our customers as there is the deep-set mentality that hawker food must be very cheap and rental is inexpensive. What kept us going was to stick closely to our vision, cook from our hearts and let our food speak for itself. We work hard and take any form of feedback onboard. Having many customers coming up to us to tell us that they enjoyed our food, and seeing them return on a regular basis with their friends and family, makes all the hard work worth it.
Our signature dishes are Fish & Chips and Roasted Chicken Leg. For our Fish & Chips, there are 4 types of fish you can choose from: Dory Fish, Sole, Halibut and Haddock. Our dishes are all made to order and we only use fresh ingredients in our cooking.
