If we count the old store, it’s been open for nearly 50 years, but this current stall has only been open for two. We didn’t sell Lor Mee for twenty years, while my children were very young. We sold Ban Mian instead for about ten years. The next ten years, the stall was rented out to someone else selling Japanese food.

In the morning, I go over to Whampoa first to open the stall there, then I come down here to open the main stall.
